ISO 14224 gives failure and maintenance data a common language

What the source establishes

ISO 14224:2016 is the current confirmed edition for covered petroleum and natural-gas applications. It specifies minimum reliability and maintenance data categories and exchange structures. The editorial record preserves the named source, edition or release, date, scope, and authority class before drawing any market or operating implication.

It does not determine failure cause, analysis validity, or product data quality.
